About the Connecticut Art Therapy Association:

The Connecticut Art Therapy Association (CATA) is an affiliate chapter of the American Art Therapy Association. The purpose of this association is to develop awareness of the practice of art therapy; to maintain and improve standards of practice; to promote research; and to provide education for its members and the general public about the therapeutic uses of art.
